In 2010 a survey of ACPA contractors was conducted to determine the relative cost of selected design features. Three different surveys were used; a General Survey evaluating nine design features, a Saw and Seal survey evaluating four sealant types and four reservoir widths, and a smoothness survey designed to establish the cost to attain lower and lower roughness levels. To complete all three surveys required 117 cost inputs to be developed by each contractor. 2010
